Ok then you pc experts out there I have some questions...

Never done camp before *shock horror at my geriatic age!* so I cant ask at my yard without abuse!

1. How on earth do I take the feed?, pre mixed? all is separate buckets ready? Always done that for big shows but its rather faffy.

2. same question really, but hay? i cant do bales, I have bales the size of my car! and i need to take LOADS for little miss no-attention-span. Shall I make up enough haynets to sink the titanic or am I being silly?

3. Camp bed or air bed? Blatantly most important!

Ok, question time over, any help greatly appreciated

My daughters going tuesday
1.they supply feed
2.they supply hay straw.
3...airbed
I assumme its the same for adult camp and senior if you look on line at your local pc club you can email a member of the club
 
1. I always took feed bins but then my pony was only on chaff and one mix so wasn't an issue. I know some of my friends did as 'Jakesmydog' suggested and that seemed to work. All really depends on how much storage you are getting.

2. Ok no clue, we always have had hay supplied. You could make up haynets but if they are in 24/7 you'll need loads as we tended to just chuck a wedge over regularly.

3. Camp bed - mice/rats can't chew a hole in it and can't jump up as easily!

Personally, I make the full weeks feed into doggy bags or into one big dustbin, I then just put it straight into the feedbowl.

Here I am feeling very sorry for you as luckily our hay and straw are provided!

Personally, whichever you find more comfortable. I'd lean towards the air bed personally, or go in a lorry!
 
I took feed ready mixed in buckets all stacked in a pile.
I took hay in haynets (lots of them) luckily I already own 7 matching haynets so i know there mine.
I took a air bed, very comfy but make sure you remember the compressor or you'll be there forever blowing it up.
The place were we stayed had haylage bales if we wanted to buy off them and straw was provided.

1) Most people tend to make feeds up into bags and store in a dustbin, then the team leader or whoever's feeding only has to tip a bag into the feedbowl.

2) No idea as our hay is always provided. Whenever we've gone to away events we've always taken horsehage instead as it's easier to handle.

3) Camp bed as you'll be up off the ground and therefore warmer
