We're there doing Intermediate Eventing (scary!!!). Onions- I did that ages ago! It was so much fun, apart from our team had an argument with one judge about the use of a martingale- no way should it be used as a steering aid! We came 5th, and got some really nice brushes!
 
doing the h&p care on monday too..see you there, look out for the team probaly trying the 'entertain the examiners' approach again haha
going up friday, intermediate dressage on the saturday, then staying sat & sun as well for monday
first time qualified with pony, very excited

I went last year to support - and party - with others, but never ridden (exept Nov. Champs. at smallwood few years ago). Look for a blonde girl on a demented grey, doing dressage not up to the standard of you english!

Oh and the journey is actually quite fun, usually!
 
One thing we messed up badly was when this lady walked round and asked us how we were getting on, and we said crap, lol! Don't say that, becasue she marks you on team outlook and attitude... Understandable, we didn't do so well on that. The perfect answer was "This is an amazing experience, blah blah blah...". LOL!
 
haha...we went two years ago for it as well and had a similar experience by the sounds of it! basicaly gave up in the end as judges were not taking us seriously!
 
im going on sunday for open dressage and it will be strange this year cos last year i was there for the whole week and this year just a day!
anyone know if there will be any parties this year as last year there werent

Ellie - last year, cause we were all stabled all higgledy piggeldy there was no real atmosphere/parties, but i'd say this year will be better!
 
stablingg for some people was a nightmare last year as they were hours away, but luckily we were onsite!
hoping for better atmosphere this year and deffo no rain!
 
I'm in charge of the stabling, so I'm sure I'll see some of you

I'm going! Doing the open dressage, only found out a few days ago!! And the intermediate eventing =D can't wait! Competing against my old pony in the dressage as well! Good luck to everyone
