Wondered if anyone can offer any advice.... My horse has been diagnosed with Slight rotataion of the pedal bone (although he doesn't & never has had laminitis), He was very slightly lame for a few days with nothing really to notice, no swellings etc so put it down to a possible knock to his leg, then he went dog lame.... so the vets been and we both thougth it was an abcess but X rayed his foot which has shown the rotation I've got the farrier coming up on Tuesday to cut away some of his hoof and replace his shoes etc but I can't find anything on the net giving any possible reasons how this can happen... is it poor shoeing? I'll give the vets a call again & see what they say (very bad line when he called) but hoped someone could help... i'm really worrying now!! Any advice would be very much appriciated
