Why are people mixing breeds and charging a fortune for them. Also there is a lot of pedigree dogs now which are not kennel club registered and.are still a hefty price:confused:

^^^^ plus they are healthier!! Hybrid vigour!! And they don't shed, they ALWAYS take the coat of the non-shed breed! And they mix the best of both breeds even though the breeds have nothing in common!

(I am joking)

Erm, saying things like that is cruel and you are certainly not thinking of the feelings of those who own them (because you have now hurt them), sheme on you.......clearly you are NOT dog lover either...how dare you!;)

How S4sugar puts it "bred by idiots and bought by gullible people" well she actually puts it alot firmer than that:p:D

But indeed people are fickle and they want something fashionable/cute sounding, something to be giddy about so they choose something with a cutesy made up name, and give little to know thought about how they are encouraging back street breeders to breed from the most unsuitable breeds in order to cash in ££££££££££, they also sell them as CC suggests as healthier, non sheeding, better behaved;):D
It's like having the latest gadget in living form.

well said.

I was looking up a friends litter of springers on preloved last night as they are so cute and I wanted to coo over the photos. They are registered, health checked both parents and pups, come with first jab and 4 weeks insurance. Next ad down springadors, not registered (obviously) no parental health checks, no jabs, no insurance and they were over £125 more than the pedigree!!!
I paid £50 ten years ago for my Dane x rottie as he was a mongrel. ( Best £50 I've ever spent, I loved Merlin totally he was my best friend and has left a huge hole in my heart) I am quite tempted to ring these advertisers and ask if the price is correct for a mongrel?
