Hello,

Floss' mummy is Hillside Dearisah, by the Arab Sahibi. My instructor used to run an AA stud with a friend (I think they owned Sahibi) and so there are three Floss siblings within five
miles of each other
The full pedigree, or as much as I know is on allbreedpedigree.com. Her full name is PC The Mill On The Floss.

Love your boy, he takes my breath away every time I see the pics ) Hopefully a friend is expecting a little Arab foal next year. I can't wait! I'll try and find out their pedigrees for you. All I know is that their names contain lots of consonants and not many vowels! I think Desi is called Nadesda or something like that and the other mare is called Dacora. Both are grey and from somewhere in Wales I think.

I absolutely love the Arab x Trakehner combination. Floss' two half sisters are by a warmblood and are lovely, but Floss has a lightness and an elegance that they don't seem to have. Not that I'm biased or anything

What a lovely pedigree! The Arab side is all great Crabbet/Old English lines - Sahibi as I'm sure you know being by the wonderful Hassani of Fairfield who was a fab jumper/eventer/hunter owned by Liz Salmon, who is now an international Arab judge (and one of my 'mentors')!

Floss and my boy are related as Tobago's motherline has some of the same Old English horses - Blue Domino, Indian Gold, Indian Magic, etc...

I'd love to see the pedigrees of your friends' horses - the ones with lots of consonants are almost certainly Polish, and I like Polish Arabs (my boy has Polish lines as well).

Arab x Trak is a fab combination, especially as Trakehners tend to have a fair bit of Arab in them, so the Arab genes 'find each other' and the good qualities come through. (I laughed when I first heard this metaphor - had this image of the Arab genes meeting up and saying 'oh - my long-lost cousin!' and hugging each other....

Oh no - I'm so sorry - I did clear a whole load, I promise, but then suddenly got lots more and my internet went down this afternoon before I had a chance to clear again....I really have cleared them now!

(I do know how infuriating it is when you write a great long essay and can't get through - very sorry!)
