An update on the Pee Wee bit, please. There has been some mention a year or two back, but I wondered what you people who tried it a few years ago, now think of it? Comments gratefully received.
Still love mine In fact, glad I've been reminded of it, might have a use for it this week as I'm taking my loopy pony on a farm ride - that will be fun!
Note that this is a horse that likes speed, and also will run backwards/leap skywards if you overbit him... He's been worked in the pee wee before, I just hadn't considered trying him XC in it!
Worked wonders on 3 other horses, and Dante has always gone well in it too. All 4 were quite different too.
I LOVE IT! It has been like a miracle for my horse who was deemed dangerous XC (he was too strong for a 4* pro male event rider)! I now have control and my horse is happy, some pics:
Just a comparison, this was when I tried an english gag on him!
Many thanks for the info and the super photos. I hunt my horse in a Dr Cooks bitless, but was thinking it was worth trying something a little stronger but humane, as we have the odd embarrassing moment, and the Pee Wee APPEARS to fit the bill!
