Anyone use one? Good bad or indifferent. Why did you use them, what is your horses mouth conformation like and what was the difference?

Thank you!

hi i ride my very fleshy mouthed cob in a peewee because ive had back surgery and cannot have him pulling on my hands and hes quiet strong ,but hes as light as a feather and brakes are just spot on . its not a harsh bit as long as youve got very good hands. i believe it was first developed for disabled riders

I have light hands, in fact my instructor is always telling me to take more contact. I would happily ride on the buckle but I have a spooky, trippy horse, and riding him WITH a contact, althought not a lot of contact, does help him trip and spook less!!!

I have tried loads of bits but it occurred to me that I haven't tried a straight bar ish bit at all, and the Pee Wee seems to have several options.

Hmm, mine has a fat tongue, low palate and fleshy lips - I put him in a Myler MB05 because it doesn't have tongue pressure, but he leans on me in this and makes my shoulders ache. Sounding a possibility to try.

We used a peewee for quite a while on my daughters strong pony. It certainly helped and as the pony also had a tendancy to get her tongue over the bit, it also stopped that. Now in a wilkie more for showing reasons but I would recommend the peewee.
Also 'The Saddlery Shop' has them on offer for 29.99 I think.
