Peed and pooed in the house last night ......

She was last out at the loo at 2am when I finally went to bed last night, Normally she goes into her crate at night, But for the past month or so shes been just laying in her bed in the kitchen, This morning I went in and she peed not just a dribble but full flow pee, and pooed everywhere, I noticed that her poo isn't consistent in its contents .

I am wondering if this has happened due to the accident several months ago or is it something else ??

Yep, I've had that from both mine in the past, usually when Boss has eaten something he shouldn't or if he doesn't go properly when I put him out at night (he will sometimes just stand by the back door waiting to get in if it's too cold), he needs to be supervised at bedtime wees to make sure he goes!

Its why she has done it ... is it because of an upset tummy, is it because of the accident ? is it just a one off ?

I'm a bit confused! All I meant to say is that if she had an upset tummy she just had to go and could not hold it in so she could not help herself. As opposed to a dog that chooses to go inside in order to mark its territory or because it doesn't want to go out in the cold, etc.

I wouldn't give it much thought to be honest, dogs have upset tummies all the time. Try starving and serving a bland diet for the next meal as other users have suggested and that should be fine.

I'm sure it is a one off...until she has an upset tummy again!!

Her bowel movements have never been right since the accident, Her stomach seems bloated this morning, She was put into her crate last night and low and behold, She has stayed clean and dry, was let out first thing this morning as per usual and went and peed.

I think I am going to have to keep a close eye on her whilst she is out to see if she is picking anything up , as she is not getting anything remotely different feed wise .


Can anyone recommend a dry feed that is suitable for sensitive digestion ?

Oh, I see! Hope it was a one off then!

Science Plan by Hills do a variety of specialist foods, one for sensitive digestions, a couple for allergies, etc. - might be worth a try, although they are quite expensive.
