Pelham bits query.

Hello,

Just read a post about using Pelham bits and showing. Someone commented that all horses eventually lean on a pelham bit. Just started to ride my horse successfully in a pelham using two reins, and am really pleased with how he is responding. Little bit worried now.

Do you know if this is true, and if so why?

i have ridden my horse for 5 years in the same pelham and he has never leaned on it.

My mare has had a pelham for 3 years now and is very light in the hand and never leans.

Thank you. I do think its how you ride, not the bit. But wasn't totally sure.
