Firstly, thank you all so much for your replies to my post yesterday about my pony tanking off. You made me feel much better.
Now I'm just not sure which bit to try out of the pelham or the kimblewick.
I like the sound of the kimblewick because it's only one set of reins, but then again ponio was ridden in a rubber pelham with roundings (by kids) before i got him (but was a lot less fit). If I go for one with a curb I will be using an elastic/leather curb or a rubber guard on the chain to start with.
If I go for the kimblewick do I definitely need one with slots?
Please help me make a decision, as I'll be going shopping tomorrow and need to know which one I want to go for!
