I just buy the cheapest I can find and have never had a problem with dust. Not in the winter anyway, they can be dusty in the summer when they're left undisturbed for a while and dry out but that seems to be all makes, even the more expensive ones.

Try keeping them a bit damper, will keep the dust down.
I have tried straw pellets but they end up a lot darker, and I thought stuck to things more

I use Snowflake pellets, I had to use Pure briefly when my supplier ran out and found they didn't go as far and were less absorbent so cost me more despite being cheaper.. As it's winter, I don't find dust an issue but the snowflake weren't dusty in the summer.

One of ours is so wet it’s a nightmare to muck out. Pellets are easier than shavings though. Are the snowflake ones more absorbent?

I found them much more absorbent than the Pure. I use 2 bags of Snowflake at this time of the year, I was getting through at least 3 bags of Pure and the bed still seemed wetter. Even allowing for the fact Pure are cheaper, bags slightly smaller, it was costing me more.

Also rate Aquamax when I used it a few years ago and that was less dusty than a cheaper alternative.

If I could get miscanthus pellets I would.
They absorb much more than wood, and rot down so fast on the muck heap, whereas wood doesnt at all.

I dont know about the dustiness, theyre all probably much the same, being composed of ground-up material.
