My 17 hands of moron (aka bobby) managed to do something bad to his pelvis (vet now recons fractured) he is having xrays soon to see how its healing, the initial injury happened back in November, vet at first thought it was just badly bruised and he had a hematoma which has now dissapeered, he was originally scheduled to have xrays last month but trailer issues prevented us getting him there, the xrays only being taken to see how its healed and if he can be ridden again (as it was agreed in November he would need a long time off to heal).

are there any supplements people can recommend to assist? he was on danilon for 1 month and now has it when required which is rare now. he has glucosamine which helps slightly and he eats spillers conditioning mix with mollichaff original to bulk it up, as well as 2 nets of hayledge at night. He is getting better ever day and doesnt have issues moving it now which is good signs so i have a good feeling he may at least be hacking sound (he was my eventer... so id love if he would be able to come back to that but im good with hacking and popping the odd log)

my vet thinks he could make a good comeback as in the 3 weeks since she last saw him, he has made massive progress (she saw him as he was going out and he decided to go for a good ol gallop and leap a few times) which he didnt want to do a month ago.
