I posted on her a few months back after noticing a lump on my new boys penis! I had the vet take a look who advised to leave alone and monitor. Last weekend his sheath became swollen and after sedation discovered that the lump had grown somewhat. He was given antibiotics and went in today for a penis amputation. However once heavily sedated it became apparent the lumps were all over his prepuce and furthermore his sheath had tripled in size with swollen lymph nodes and area infrint of his sheath filled with fluid. They've cut away Some of his prepuce (sheath?) and I have to collect him tomorrow then await the results of the tests. Vet seems to think it will be cancerous and will have spread due to lymph symptoms. Anyone else had this experience? Bit worried I've done the wrong thing and should have just had him pts. Worried about his after are too! He does seem to have list muscle tone over the past month too. Wondering if the insurance will pay out and hope they don't try and say it was a pre existing condition. Such a shame, he's an absolute gentleman and only 7
would be grateful to hear anyone's experience/ advice
