Can't find a schedule online and just wondered if anyone knew what classes they had on? Or does anyone know of any other shows in the area with WH classes etc?
You are a star! WH or ridden hunter/riding club horse/pot event horse basically. Got a 4 year old who I just want to get out and about for experience but she loves her jumping so something that involved a fence would be good!
Right: Ring 1 - Family ring starting at 10am
Class 2: Grass Roots class to be judged mainly on compatibility of horse, rider, and turn-out.
Ring 2 - Show jumping starting 10am
Class 8 open jumping not exceeding 2ft 6ins in first round
Class 9 Open jumping not exceeding 2ft 9ins in first round.
Ring 5 - Show classes starting at 10am
Class 15 Riding club horse or pony. Rider 17 yrs & over. Snaffle bridles only. Judged on: 50% suitability for riding club activities, 25% turnout and manners, 25% jumping (very small fence)
Class 17 Working Hunter to be judged on performance and manners. Class may be split. (Strangely, no mention of jumps/heights!?)
Class 2 is obviously 2nd class in ring 1, following family pony.
Class 8 is 3rd class in ring 2, following Junior jumping (taking entries until 11.30) and Novice jumping.
Class 15 is 5th class in ring 5 following Best turned out, Leading rein, First ridden and best rider 16 and under. Class 17 follows veteran.
Hope that helps.
