It's like buses!

Two people want to try LL
cool.gif

One is an eleven year old laddie. His Mum and Granny both have horses on the yard where we are. He's a beginner(!) so would have to be on a lead rein

He just likes having a pony to look after, any riding is a bonus

The other is an eleven year old girl. Ridden for four years. Rides her friend's 'bouncy' pony. They would want to take him to their friend's yard...

I've told them all what he can be like, and the laddie saw LL's bronc session the other day; luckily daughter stayed on, so he wasn't too traumatised!

Hm. Not sure how I'm feeling about it all really. Have to do something - daughter is too big really, though she does want to hunt him! He has to be kept fit to keep the laminitis at bay.

Cookies and hot choccies for reading my musings

Thankies all!

JM07 - indeed! Though hubby keeps saying "Sell!". Pah. Will continue to ignore as best as possible

DLu - allowed to uncross for calls of nature only

f_s - lol, not sure you'd think he was fab if you'd seen the display the other day

. Apparently daughter did damn well do stay on - see, all that yelling "Heels down!" worked
grin.gif

tree - if you mean LL, he'll jump up to two feet okay; if you mean me 'n' the Dizz, well sad to say I haven't ridden since Monday

But, will be riding tomorrow so who knows....

HC2 - roflmao, no doubt LL will be his usual charming self

. Don't know what he's going to think to being asked to work twice in one day!

Can't decide whether daughter should ride him first, or if that will jazz him up... unless of course she kn*ckers him out lol.

Good luck, hope one of them suits. If not send him here for a 'holiday' for the winter - stables almost finished, few fence posts to do, daughter's feet well below C's tummy...she's grown an inch and a half since I bought her school trousers in July, and C does bucking rearing rockinghorse impressions sometimes too, so will be like home from home for T.

Dubsie - if they don't get on, then consider yourself plus one little ponio. He loves cuddles and he's good to catch, falls asleep when being clipped, only he's not too keen on jumping over two feet

Slinks - oh yes indeedy

Dear Little Lad,

I recommend you pick the one that gives you the most treats, and is fastest at finding your itchy spots. Once you have identified that, you know which one to behave for, and which one to chuck in a mud puddle!

Carrots,
the Spooky Pony

Dearest Smartest Spooky Pony,

I like your line of thinking! As the two-legged ones don't give me treats, for some stoooopid reason (something to do with laminated - always thought that was something to do with floors, but hey, what do I know), anyone who gives me anything is fine by me. Though, to be honest, I think I'll have to have a go at ditching them both, just for the sheer hell of it: I don't think I can help myself!

Yours in cahootsly,

Little Lad
