people from scotland!!

Now your askin!!!Where abouts in Scotland are you?
Terrible thing is can't think of any!!!!!Craigies up N.E way???
Just a thought cos when I have liveried on yards that take in reschooling projects they often just used to get kids to ride them anyway so cut out middle man and get a decent local jockey if you know of any.
My daughter was asked to school a pony for a local yard must have made a good job as local equine vet(vet had vetted pony for buyer) asked if she could school a youngster.
Just a thought unless its a complete nutter

we are in the scottish borders, my problem is i don't have a ridding school or anything, just a field which i might be able to use on occasions. i would also benefit from some good lessons from a proper qualified person

Oh don't really know anything about that area, only been to Rowallan for daughter to compete.
What about phoning local riding clubs, riding schools to see if they know of anyone?Usually I just keep asking people til I find what I want.
Good luck tho.

Im in the South West (South ayrshire) and there are a fair few fantastic BHSAI's locally.
Roslyn Fife and Sheila Thom spring to mind initially.

Can't actually think of anyone who would reschool, I'd agree with TequilaMist and say a good local jockey. They're normally very willing just to have something to ride, I know when I get asked to do some schooling on a pony I'm always chuffed jsut to get some riding in.

Karen Redfearn is in the Scottish Borders somewhere - Melrose I think. She did a fab job breaking my youngsters a few years ago. She should be like enough to ride ponies I would think.
