................ of possible theives in the area. Tonight at around 8.45pm a red car and white transit van were disturbed by YO at the main gates to our yard.

We have pretty good security but feel if the gates had been left un-padlocked they would have defnitely been in the carpark, possibly to get at the parked cars, horseboxes or trailers.

Am now sitting here panicking about the horses tonight!!

Once disturbed they left but if you are situated in this area just be warned and keep your eyes peeled for a red car and white van together, they definitely looked like they were up to something dodgy.

Wasn't there a mare stolen in Swanley last year but who was thankfully recovered? Thanks for the warning, you just never know do you.

From memory there was a big 17 hh + grey gelding that went missing from Swanley village last year, it did get recovered a few months later, thankfully. Not sure about the mare though.

Its just a real worry, sometimes I just wish i could bring my boy home with me at night. Don't care about the tack and stuff - not that I particularly want it to go missing but it can be replaced, if you know what I mean!
