PEOPLE LISTING ITEMS THAT ARE NOT ENGLISH AS ENGLISH ON EBAY

I suppose it all comes down to you get what you pay for.

While I understand the frustration regarding the name "Heritage", Snowhill products both in their Heritage and Rhinegold range are both made in India using English leather tanned in the UK by Samuel Sharpe for the Heritage, while the Rhinegold uses German leather. The labels on their products are missleading but surely it is also reflected in the price.

You would be amazed by how many brand name equine items are made abroad. How many horse rugs are actually made in the UK? Very few!

We have a trade account with Mattes, one of their platinum range items was ordered for one of our cutomers, when it arrived from Germany in was actually made in Poland.

Treadstone bridles are very nice, made from English leather but made in India. GFS saddles, quite a few of them are now made in South America, not the UK, including I beleive the Pessoa range.

I have an Ambassador saddle which at one time was made in England but is now made abroad, mine is one of the abroad ones, I love it! Fab saddle and beautifully made.

I know what the OP means though and sellers need to be clearer on their listings and not imply that products are made in UK when they are not.

However I do have a Rhinegold leather headcollar, it's great and everone admires it, it was good value for money and I got what I paid for
