You might not believe this but there is a farrier moving to the area!!!!!!!!! Just stumbled accross this...... (top one on the list!!)

Oh good news!

...If this house ever sells we're looking at that neck of the woods - I thought I was going to have to have my farrier come on holiday for a weekend lol

He shoes horses at my yard atm, is very good, nice and quiet.

that sounds about right , i book my flights , arrange accomadation , sort out accountant and fiscal and banking services , arrange appointments with farriers and other services , basically spend a fortune on relocating to a foreign clime to be hit with the fact i may not be needed now

Im sure you will still be needed! There are so many people desperate. All of the farriers here are either full or not very trusted i would say as long as you have good customer service answer your phone and return calls and turn up when you say you will. You would be busy in no time!!!!
