people who event full TB's

Ah ha.
My friends horse who she paid a lot of money for as an unbroken 3 yr old was by Roviris. She is a stunning horse, so athletic and really top class. It's a shame she got kissing spine she could have been so special.
 
I absolutely love Bustino horses. Just something about them if that line is prevalent. Buckpasser has pretty proven horses as well. Nasrullah is very prevalent in TB sport horses. Bold Ruler is another one I look for. I LOVE Supreme Leader horses again goes back to Busted.
Derring Do is also pretty prevalent in sports horses - Stan the Man has Derring Do as does High Top who features in many good eventers. Prince Rose is another name that will crop up time and time again.

Presenting has the near perfect TB sports horse breeding for me with Bustino, Bold Ruler and goes back to Blandford on both sides of his family. What I would give for a 16.2hh 5yo Presenting gelding!!

Shaab the TB sports horse sire has very similar bloodlines to Presenting with Busted on sire line and Bold Ruler in dam line so the bloodlines are proven.

just presumed that it was just the way he was but talking to some people on here the horses in his pedigree could be responsible :D He has roberto on his dams side and apparently in the states this and robellino lines are quite sort after for eventing.

My other little horse that I bought last year also has this horse and robellino on his dams side as well.

Everytime I see pics of him he reminds me so much of my horse!!
Mine has Roberto as his great grand sire and a few other well known US sires down the line somewhere
 
I had a grey mare by Distant Relative and Gunner B lines, she had the most awesome turn of foot on her, outclassed anything that came near her, unfortunatley she never raced due to having a foot that turned in and too grow too big. But she evented/hunted very well having reached advanced level. She's got a lovely temperament too , you just had to ignore the front leg action.
My new one is french bred by Chineur out of Flash and Dazzle (Bertolini) So fair bred, nothing spectacular though. I brought her as she is a willing little lady, wants to please which is half the battle! and she moves very well, so hopefully she'll turn out good.

I do look at the breeding on them, and ones with certain breeding I will not touch due to funny temperaments/ not willing to work.

Chestnut TB's are the best :D Yours looks like the refined version of mine - he is *ahem* slightly ott at the mo :D The little tb I sold last year has just started to jump and is showing some of that pop as well :)
 
Mines rather fat so not so refined right now! :D Would you mind posting or PM a link to his pedigree? Im really interesting to see what other lines they might share :)
 
Lec that's so interesting! My chestnut has buckpasser in his line and my late mare had bold ruler and prince rose.
I never knew what any of this meant before, it is SO interesting! :D
