Hi,
I do some freelance reporting and write for Scottish and Northern equestrian mag.

every month I do a "Focus on ..." But I am running out of riders. Anyone want to be the Focus on rider for an issue this summer?:confused:

No need to be eventing at a high level, but I would prefer people with interesting backgrounds, jobs, horses etc?

If interested (please don't PM as I never check them) but email me a brief description of yourself and your horse (s) and if I think I can use you I'll email more questions over.

Sorry - you don't get paid but you do get a nice photo and your story in the mag:D

Missypp - as you had a HUGE splash in the Courier recently I had better not try and convince you to do it for fear of poaching 'Philly's pin up ladies' . I'll get you next year on your way to your first CCI** !!!
 
We are a nosey bunch ;)

I would have been happy to do it but sadly my season didnt even start due to horse breaking (permenantly unfortunately, as far as eventing is concerned anyway, might manage a dressage career if we're lucky) and my other 'prospect' is only 2 so wont be doing anything for a while ;)

Good luck with finding people, maybe everyone has been making the most of the break in the rain today!
 
I am only dipping my big toe in to the eventing world at BE80 level but I know someone who probably would make interesting reading! I'll point her in this threads direction:)
 
So I now have LOADS of BE90/100 riders.

Would still like someone with a weird job / hard luck story / unusual horse / etc

Ha, ha, ha go on do it on Andrew, between Figjam & I we have loads of photos. Dairy farmer doing Intermediate, aiming at Balcarres - should be relevant.

A would love to be a magazine featured star! :p Can certainly dig out photos if required, real shame can't feature video in magazine, I have fab Eglinton Int footage...! ;)

PS- Joss, good work convincing him to say yes! ;) Tell him Echo would love his fan club to become national though. :D
 
I would happily use Andrew, he would be perfect as he is a little bit ....different? but unfortunately I would have to have it in his words and not those of his PA/OH/Groom/Support team.

Get him to email me if he if interested.
