People who have recently sold a 7.5 ton-where did you advertise?

I'm trying to sell a V reg DAF...so far I've put it on horsemart & preloved. I sold 2 cheapies a few years ago on eBay but from what I've seen on there lately, anything other than cheapies don't seem to get bids, so I haven't bothered.

In your experience, what works the best? Cards in tack shops? Other sites that I haven't thought of yet? Please tell me how you sold yours! I'm wildly excited about getting a big 4x4 & an equitrek trailer...but I can't til I've sold my box!

Mine went on ebay too,put my phone number in the listing and got a call with a decent buy it now offer, they drove 300 miles and picked it up the next day x

Thank you v much for the input, otherwise I def wouldn't have bothered! I suppose if I was looking to see how many bids, etc, on similar lorries, I wouldn't be aware of the ones where the buyer made the seller an offer, & they then pulled the ad.

Right, off to eBay we go...
 
ditto I sold mine outside of ebay, its very good as you can and should post lots of pictures and a short and consise description... you will also get wallys and chancers as well as genuine buyers ...good luck....
 
Thank you - I put it on last night. 12 pictures & a short description. Won't put a link in case I get into trouble, but if curious, it shouldn't be hard to find! My name on there is the same as on here.

Everything crossed that it sells as I want my Landcruiser & Equitrek trailer...!!
