I have lived in my lenses for 10 years and I am pretty short sighted (-6 in both eyes with astigmatism) and work in the dreaded office with aircon and have the horses.
I have a pair of almost no colour fashion sunglasses for £2 for clipping days or brushing the top of a very tall filthy mud covered horse, but this is my only consession to irritated eyes. I keep contact lense solution in the car for if I need it. Havn't yet.
I wear the all day all night ones during the day and still take them out to sleep in these days. Most comfy lenses I have ever worn and quite handy if you get drunk cause you don't have to worry. Didn't like dailies.
Laser surgery is very appealing, but for as long as the lenses work I think I will stick with them. If it ain't broke don't fix it...
