Went showjumping on Tuesday, and completely forgot till now so thought I would mention it.
Me and Roo were watching the clear round class waiting for the novice to start.
There was a group of people shouting encouragement to a lass on a stunning tb'y type horse. The horse refused at one fence, so the rider went to try again, someone outside the ring, obviously meaning to say put your leg on! shouted 'get your leg overrrr!'
Me and mum just PMSL'd.

I would have been doubled over crying!

I made some people grin the other day when I cantered past them in the show ring and muttered to them 'I can't stop the ****ing thing!', but what you heard is SOOOO much funnier!

My mum and dad came to watch me at a XC a couple of years back as I went passed them they laughed at me saying *I can't stooopp* as I careered past they thought i was joking

These are so funny.
Last season i was in my first WHP with my 4yr old TB x, jumped clear ended up doing a full lap trying to slow down went passed mum and shouted " Someone has cut my brakes" judge was laughing when i finally stopped.
Could not have been all bad got a second (and a slightly stronger bit!)

I was stood just behind the judges as my daughter came whizzing along towards the jump on her shetland x some years ago. He has quite a large body but very short legs.

One judge turned to the other and said, "Here comes Stumpy!"

I was at a show last weekend when someone shouted encouragement like this and although they jumped clear, they were eliminated for outside assistance!
