People who use NAF magic.

i split it in between two feeds but that is purley because my horses is fussy and not to keen on eating her feed if there is anything strange in it!

I split it over two feeds.

You are probably already aware- but I did'nt realise until I was told, so thought I might pass on the knowledge- The scoop NAF provide is twice the dose you are suppose to feed!! So half a scoop is the correct amount!

No idea- I think it is completely barmy. I was feeding a scoop until somebody mentioned it to me and I read the packet and scoop more closely!

There was a thread on this a few weeks ago that I can't find now, but someone pointed out this discrepancy between the dosage and the measure on the spoon - BUT the dosage is in milligrams and the measure on the spoon in millilitres (or the other way round - can't remember) - anyway, a full spoon is the right maintenance measure.

I've got a tub beside me it says normal horse amount should be 1 scoop (25g) per day, then on the scoop it says 50ml

I second that- we all thought it was wrong but it's not! Someone checked with NAF i think or worked it out for themselves.

i feed mine in one feed

My boy has been a bit fussy with his feed with Magic in it, but I feed only a small amount a day (about half the amount recommended) and then up to larger amount a few days before competitions.

I split it between 2 feeds and like some people have already said the scoop and the RDA is confusing!!! Why dont they make a scoup that is marked easily i.e. 1 days allowance for 16hh+ etc...does that make sense?
