People with Heavy horses.... I mean the proper thing, full Clydes, Shires etc not X's!

What makes/types of saddle do you use? I always dread having to buy new saddles for my bunch. Currently I use Barefoot treeless and ones made specialy. ££££

none! Ride bareback! Solves alot of problems and does wonder for your position etc. Our boys are mostly worked under harness/ long lined

lol, maybe I wouldn't hunt like it... might get laughed off the field for a start but its fine for pottering about and cantering round parkland, even done the odd jump!

We were lucky that our old ClydesdaleXShires saddle fitted our new girl. We now have a very old very large saddle that we are unlikely to use again, having decided that we will not have another one as heavy, following loosing Pearl at easter age 11

I also have a barefoot, but I mostly use an American Abetta Trail Saddle, very comfy and good for their backs,I had mine imported with the dollar at the moment you would get a good deal, the import duty wasn't that much either

Trojan is a suffolk punch and I use a barefoot treeless and would not consider using anything else. Horse and Harmony will let you have a free trial on any of there saddles so you get to know what does and doesnt suit you and your horse.
