Went to ride away today on the hunt for a new pair of breeches. Tried on Mark Todd's, ariat and spooks plus more in various styles and every pair I tried on were too long in the leg to the point where they came half way down my foot. at 5 for 2 I didn't think I was ridiculously short but it seems I cannot get a pair to fit. I like plain colours, no bling and not a full seat. Can anyone recommend some breaches that come up short or offer different leg lenghts?

I'm 5'2" and as long as I wear breeches not jodhpurs I am fine? I have had Mark Todd and Ariats and they have fitted well - also Jeffries

Schockemohle are the best fitting breeches I own (I'm 5'3)

They come up very small so order a size up - Hope Valley Saddlery has a lovely selection

B Vertigo is also the perfect length

As long as they're not an expensive pair I just chop the bottoms off and am done with it but echo the breeches not jodphurs.

I struggle with this too! I'm currently liking my pair of Tredstep Rosa Symphony breeches. They're knee patch ones and come in all the classic colours.

Jodhpurs always way too long on me but I turn them up or cut the bottoms off.

Breeches are loads better for me too, although still a tiny bit long so I turn those up too, so I avoid ones with Velcro at the bottom.

I love the hkm Lauria Garelli ones - stretchy fabric, nice style and fit, knee patches and in a big enough size for me! Get mine from Equus which has a good range.

Dublin Everyday Shapely Euro Seat Breech. I'm 5'3", short legged and they fit perfectly on all my lumps and bumps. Maybe not a very trendy brand but I find my Dublin breeches to be well made, well wearing and well priced. Full seat, nice and plain, and good enough for competition.

Another vote for noble outfitters riding tights (I'm 5' on my tip toes). I also have a pair of equiline competition breeches which I love, although I suspect that the pattern makes it obvious that they expected my legs to be longer, they are still short enough to wear as is with *no turn ups*!

Pikeur Lucinda for me (although they have a full seat), they do normally do a knee patch only similar model though. No turning up required and I'm just over 5ft.
