I've missed a bit - what has happened.

They were just saying that if he had gone in last night and turned away from the first jump twice then he could have jumped tonight (today).

what has happened?

The decision to allow JW to jump went to appeal (obviously received complaints from one or more other teams). The appeal overturned the original decision to allow JW to jump.

Apparently, had JW got on Peppermill, rode to the first fence, refused, rode back, refused again, he could have jumped today.

Bizarre!

I can sort of see the point, Peppermill would be more fresh than all of the other horses and at this level of competition the judges can't allow them to have any sort of advantage.

I'm off to watch the teams!

But then again, if he had just ridden up to the first fence twice and got a technical elimination (could have even walked up to it) his horse would still be just a fresh today wouldn't it?

Think they just all know how good the team is

- lets just hope that the three of them can get a gold for the equestrians this Olympics
