Well the Perfectly Pink Trek at Newtonmore Riding Centre was a huge success.
Thanks to everybody that supported it especially Strathspey Highland Ponies who brought 9 with them and too all those who raised sponsorship too. I think we had more than 20 Highland Ponies so they were the best represented breed.
We had 47 Riders Registered altogether and we raised over GBP# 1100.00 on the day for Breast Cancer Research.Special thanks to Gill Macrae for having the idea to run the ride and to Rebecca Morris too for helping Gill organising it and everybody else that made it such a success.
Thanks to everybody who helped and made it happen, it was great FUN - especially dressing up in PINK !!
PINK YOUR RIDE !!!
If you still want to donate the “Just Giving” website for the Perfectly Pink Trek should be open for another 2 weeks yet. If you donate remember to leave a funny or amusing comment and of course your name. :-)

what a fabulous idea - well done to everone involved! We ran a cake sale & tombola at work but a pink pony trek looks much more fun.

Well after todays saddleclub where the kids all PINKED their ponies and had a mini dressage show all in PINK judged by two judges from Skye we are probably closer to GBP# 1300.00 for the total raised for the weekend.
Today some of the ponies and children were very pink too.
Biggest problem now is removing pink sparkly nail varnish from the ponies hooves ! ;-)

Kelpie is like me, he is not afraid of his feminine side so the tutu is no problem - got all his leggings and tutu washed and drying ready for our next PINK outing ;-)
