Pergolide - Urgent - Where's cheapest to get from?!

Running out of pergolide and just been told by my usual supplier (local chemist) that the price they'd given it to me until now has been wrong so they want to charge £75 per 100 tablets (as opposed to £40).

I think there are online places to get it cheaply? Can anyone advise? Vet would charge me about £120 which I ain't paying! Have got a prescription ready.

Just try going round all your local chemists. When getting my last prescription the chemist I usually use could only get it at £75 per 100, I went down to Boots and they were £56. Pergolide is getting more expensive though, as I understand it it has now been withdrawn from sale in the states so is becoming far more difficult to get hold of.

Just called my local Co-op Pharmacy where I used to get it for £40, and it's £52.44 inc vat from them.

I got mine from VioVet online %2.00 and they will hnour the prescription twice

Try different chemist, may depend on their wholesaler and what price they have it at.

A little update on the price of Pergolide. The cost price (from the manufactuers) has recently almost doubled. This is why many of you are finding a big jump in the cost.

My OH is a Pharmacist, and found out when he ordered a repeat prescrption form my own horse.
