Has anyone's dog had one?

Will has had a suspected one however I declined the aspirate the old boy is 15yrs old and I wouldn't operate so would rather not know the full details. I have decided that ignorance is better sometimes.

Anyway he had a anti testosterone injection and the lump has started shrinking. Has anyone successfully kept the lump small or have it completly dissapear?

Or is it some thing that may work for a bit and then no longer work?

Oh and for entertainment matters whilst vet had finger on Wills bottom, Will was still wagging his tail and proceeded to roll over for tummy tickle!

My dog had one a couple of years ago. We tried the testosterone inhibitor but it didn't make much difference, so decided to have it excised.He was 11 at the time and the operation worried me a lot, I was really unsure if I should put him through it. The alternative was to let nature take its course and PTS when it began to obstruct. Luckily he sailed through the operation and was immediately much happier, I think the tumour was affecting him more than I realised. He is still with me and no recurrence.
