Pernamax - anyone give this to their horse?

I've just receieved the first batch through the post and it says 'give with feed or a treat', so do I crush the tablets up and mix with the feed or just put the tablets in the feed whole?

Hi.
My pony wouldn't touch them whole even though he is normally not fussy. He even turned his nose up when crushed in mix/chaff. Have found that crushed in sugarbeet works the best. I just crush them using the bottom of the tub they come in.

I've been using it for 3 mths now and i now swear by it,my horse has now gone on to the maintenance dose and she's now happily jumping and cantering on hacks where as before she'd only canter on a good day with her bad hip and jumping was out of the ?. She is also a lot more lively in the field like a normal 6 yr old should be rather than the dobbin she was for a while.She'll now stay on this for the rest of her life as the results speak for themselves.

Fruity I'm glad your girly is doing well on them - Pasha just has a slight touch or arthritus in one hock - he's not stiff at all but I want to help him if I can and these sound perfect!

I've been feeding this since last August with very noticeable results.

My horse will just spit them out if fed whole. I use a hoof pick and crush them in one of those measures you get with supplements (to stop the bits pinging on the floor).
