Does anyone use this or used it before?
I have heard a few wonder stories about it and wondered if there were more people out there that would really recommend it?
I am looking for something more powerful for arthritis for my horse and thought i may try this.
Thanks in advance

Yes I've used it on my arthritic boy with great results, although I've read of other owners who've tried it and it's made no difference at all!

Puss_in_Boots what are you using at the moment for your horse's arthritis???

I am using it at the moment, and have been for almost a year. Has made a huge difference to my horse, but appreciate there are others who have seen no change at all. My horse has needed 8 tablets a day, which is the loading dose, but was quite bad and is an ID.

Even got a free saddlecloth from them at HOYS last year!!

My vet has advised me to feed it to our young clydie as a preventative - she is show bred, hence cow hocked and very close behind.

He did say it should be fed with something like cortaflex for maxiumum benefit.

Didnt make any difference at all to either of mine, who are also on superflex.

It is very strong smelling and mine wouldnt eat the tablets - I had to crush them and mix in their food. They had the maximum dose of 8 tablets per day for 2 months and not the simgle bit of difference.

A few people have said that the green lipped mussel extract sold at Holland & Barrett had the same effect - perhaps you could try that first? A LOT cheaper than pernamax!
