I posted a personal question sometime ago now and i thought it was time for an update on the situation: COPIED BELOW

After endless visits to the quack and surveying countless lingerie depts looking for " fancy apple catchers" i have finally got a diagnosis!!!! its a sebacious cist caused by blocked hair folicles and not my riding. Can't tell you how many lessons I have had to try and correct what i thought was a crap seat!! It has now reached the point that it is quite big and is basically disfiguring my nu nu and it is impossible to ride as well as part take in any other activities related to that piece of anatomy. So the boy and the husband have got a couple of weeks off and I go into hospital on tuesday for a minor op to have it removed. RESULT!! So riders beware bikini line waxing!! LOL

Does any one get chaffed in your personal places as a result of riding? I've got a little hard lump on the left handside of the outside of my NU NU. Hope this makes sense........ been to the doc who says it most likely where my underwear has rubbed. Anyone else have the same problem? I do not really want to wear 'Apple Catchers' to ride in. What does every one else wear?
 
LOL---- from this "the boy and the husband have got a couple of weeks off" i thought you were talking about a bit on the side!!!
 
I wear a thong and sometimes I wear my apple catchers - I did get chaffed on a number of occasions and put it down to a bad choice of knicker but since I have had my Heather Moffat seat saver there have been no chaffing incidents no matter what knicks I have on! So I put it down to the leather....
 
I've figured out what a Nu Nu is, never heard it called than before, and yes, I've had chaffing/lumps from riding.

I cannot, however, contemplate what "Apple Catchers" are?? I'm sure I'll regret this, but please will someone enlighten me?? PM me if its unsuitable for forum publication...

Hippyned, how on earth can you ride in a thong? lol I need all the padding I can muster to protect my little love nub.

I hope the op on your nu nu is a success Turnover and will recover sufficently to become a "yes yes" again lol.

When I first read this I took apple catchers to be a bra but now think I am wrong. Can anyone enlighten me?
 
I wish I would definitely get a toy boy if i was going to have a bit on the side but of course i mean my wonderful little horse who is filthy dirty and enjoying his time off LOL
should be able to ride again in two weeks
 
Yes, I get the skin rubbed off where no lady wants their skin rubbed off...

I find it helps to wear padded cycling shorts under my jodhs. I would try the padded knickers too, but they're a bit steep!
