A good friend of mine had to say goodbye to her dog recently and I would like to get her something as a keepsake. I would like it to be personalised, the more unusual the better and not break the bank.

Where better to ask ???? :)

All ideas gratefully received (and links would be great).
Thanks in advance.

My children got me a photo book full of pictures of my old dog who we lost in October. Still cry now when looking at it. They also got me a DCUK duck named after her.

Fiona Findlayson does lovely felted models, my mum has one of her old dog and I have two of the ponies made up. One long gone and one still here.

Or a framed photograph maybe?

what about a nice memory box decorated, you could do it with stickers and such for your friend to keep personal things like collars etc.
