I want to get an embroidered jacket with my current horse on (I have two but with my old horse's name on!!). They are both Bronte jackets and I got them both from Crown Equestrian. They are beautiful but were very expensive (£70?) and Im skint so looking for a cheaper version.
Any ideas?
I think ebay is the best place but I dont want to end up with a crappy one so would prefer to go off recommendation!

We have just branded a load of clothing for work. We bought the shirts/sweatshirts ourselves and then I found a local embroiderer to put the logo on.

To be honest, I just googled embroidery and went to see a couple. All the ones that I spoke to were happy to do 1 garment or thousands.

Some would charge a on off set up charge but most did not.

So you could buy the jackets you wanted and then get them embroidered. Alternatively, most of the embroidery companies would also supply the garments. Hope that helps!

I have an embroidered Dublin one

I have worn it most day's for over 18months and it is still going strong.

It's not as good as the Bronte one's but I think compared to the price it is a great alternative.

ETA - I brought the jacket separately and then got it embroidered locally.

I can recomend satin stich, I took a jacket to them they are local to me and they had a selection of different paterns, pm me if you want their phone number

Thanks. I would prefer to get them from somewhere that already does equestrian designs and sells the jacket and embroidery rather than getting them separately. I found this was the cheaper way to do it last time I researched.

Would like some suggestions of companies to order from?

I have had a bit of a look myself, apart from a local place, on the internet the best I have found is a Bronte jacket embroidered with picture/wording of your choice in ebay. I think they are the same jackets as Risely saddlery. They are £32.50

Ive had a jacket from them before - total waste of money the jackets are horrid and bad quality.
Ive found a Bronte jacket for £50 inc embroidery and p&p on ebay today so think I will go for that. Thanks guys.

em - get yourself down to alsager - £35 for the bronte jackets - all sorts of colours and it shouldnt be more that 10-15 to have something on the back.

Thanks for that, was thinking of ordering one, but what is different to the other Bronte jacket

Instead of being the nice material like the Bronte ones, they're shiny, tacky and thin and a different shape. Really not nice, thats the reason theyre so cheap I reckon x
