Has anyone else gone from having a nutty horse to one so much easier to do with more exercise?
I know that during the winter we had problems getting out and the school was always flooding, but he's being ridden everyday now and he's just changed immensly!
Took him out on his own for an hour yesterday - rode alongside the M25 (on a track fenced off I hasten to add) and he was bloody amazing. Obviously a little more 'aware' and snorty but nothing major.
Oh and why didn't anyone tell me that shortening your stirrups makes everything so much easier!
Sorry, pointless post but it's so nice to post good things on here instead of 'ty bucking' of 'ty bolting off around oaks park without me on board' may be tempting fate but I'll enjoy it while it lasts!
PS - he was ALOT more forward going after YO rode him the other day.....
