Pessoa or alternatives?

I'm thinking about getting a pessoa but a lady on my yard said there are similar cheaper products on the market. Does anyone know what they may be? Or do you suggest pessoas are the best to use? Any advice would be much appreciated!

TBH I don't tend to like gadgets, but have bought one of the 'alternative' Pessoa-like training aids - and have been really impressed with it. Best £ I've spent on Ebay that's for sure!

I think a chambon is a great aid when lunging (and cheap) and then you could make something similar to go behind the horses hocks, (only it doesn't attach to the bit, which isn't a bad thing!) Just get some rubber tubeing and attach to the roller. Cheap and easy.
