Finally bit the bullet and bought one - well it is a JW one but exactly the same!

So now just need some advice - planning to use it twice a week for about 20 mins a session initially, is that about right? Should I stick to that long term or increase the time? He is used to being lunged for about 20 mins although not as often as twice a week.
I am also planning to work mainly in trot initially, but would like to try canter in time. He tends to rush in canter on the lunge, any advice on this? He is balanced enough to do 10m circles in canter under saddle so I think he should be OK to canter on the lunge?
How soon did people start to see a difference after using a pessoa like this? Ie should he start developing more topline? Did your horses start finding it easier to maintain a soft, round outline under saddle after a while? He comes through well from behind already, just tends to hold his neck rather high and stiff, and his neck could do with developing, hence the purchase!
Any advice/experiences welcomed!!

My experience is that you will see a different way of going within 3-4 sessions and feel a difference within another couple of sessions, it is amazingly effective. I always start on the lowest setting and ask for a lot of stretch downwards.

Mine was £35 on ebay, got EVERYTHING - roller, sheepskin etc. Very impressed with it so far. THink they are about £60 new.

Thats quick, 3-4 sessions. Just done first one on Friday, planning to do it on Tuesdays and Fridays every week so might even notice a difference by our next dressage outing on 30th!
Only planning to use lowest setting for time being, possibly for ever, as that seems to set him up how I want him for now!
