Pessoa's or Michael Whitaker version to be exact?????

Basically, are they worth it? Looked at the Whitaker one today and you seem to get a lot more for your money as the roller is included. Are they good for improving topline etc? Have never used one before and am very wary of such gadgets but if I was going to use one this appeals. Also, how difficlut is it to use as it looks a bit complicated and I don't know anyone who can show me!x

have seen the Whitaker one on a pony that normally pulls like train and dressage just isnt in her dictionary, go really nicly in it however the frist time they used it she went round bucking
 
I've used a pessoa and have mixed feelings about it. More established and balanced horses seem to take to it well but IMO it doesn't help with babies it tends to make them go disunited and if they stumble they get a sock in the gob which isn't fair.
