Thinking of getting my boy one, I have used my YO's and it really seems to do the trick, my question is, if I go for the genuine pessoa does it come with the roller? and can anyone recommend any of the other makes?? Or would I be best to folk out for the real mcoy??

I don't believe the Pessoa comes with a roller, but you can get kits on eBay etc that will come with a roller, I've never used a cheaper version but i dont see how they can be any different to the real thing, I have a proper Pessoa and if buying again i would buy a cheaper version

The original Pessoa one doesn't come with a roller.

I have a Pessoa, rather than the other similar ones, works well on my lot.

Just make sure you know how to use it properly for your horse and its level of training  :D

The cheaper ebay ones do exactly the same job for much less money. The yard I used to work on had 2 copies, both of which would be used at least once a day, most likely 2 or 3 times. The only one which comes with a roller I believe is the John Whitaker one.

I have a 'mock' pessoa, is great quality and came with roller, however for a 'full size' it is NOT generous and only just fits my 15.3hh.

Thanks for the replies everyone, yeah the Whitaker one seems to be the one that gets the most recommendations. :) Right off shopping I go!! :)

I had an original that I sold and now I have a John Whitaker which does come with a roller and half the price.
They both do the same - but if you have to buy a roller you need one with lots of d rings.
