Was wasting time this morning looking at horses for sale (I am NOT buying
), and find myself increasingly irked by people who do not know how to spell the breed of the horse they are selling.
So far this morning I have come across a "Hanoveron", several "Andalusions" (perhaps these are imaginary andalusians?) and even a "Cobb" - I mean, come on, you only have three letters and one syllable to deal with there
This got me thinking - am I the only one who reads this things and gets so annoyed by them - I understand that it is an advertisement and not a spelling competition, but it does look like utter muppetry and makes me wonder what level of knowledge the advertiser has about the breed they are selling.
