Pet plan entry fees at Hartbury!

As you now have to enter a semi final and then if you are in the first 15 you have to enter the final ,it is very expensive ,and so early you would have to stable overnight, I know if in the first 10 you get prize money to cover next entry but I wish they had stuck to only first 2 at area festival qualifying for final.Especially if you qualify for another class on that day 3 tests would be a lot to warm up for and get the best from the horse.
Just a little moan ,still glad to be going

i agree aswell - i sent off my entry yesterday and for 2nights of stabling, electric hook up and entry fee for the petlan it was £150ish

Thats not including the extra fee if i get through to the second round, oh and then i need to get tickets for the Carl Hester demo on the friday evening too......But then i figured its a great thing to be doing, and ive had such a great time the last 3years ive been that i dont mind spending that bit extra

Its not really that bad though when you think how much it costs to event or even hunt for the day!

Just think semi-final is unnecessary and the area final should have gone straight to champs like regionals do .

So what are the semi-finals for? Which class? bit confused!!!! Music? Or normal class???

Pet plans , it used to be [ I think ] that only the 1st and 2nd at area festival qualified for the pet plan champ s at winter champs .This year they let first 4 go through but now you have to do a semi final at winters in the morning and first 15 in each semi final will then go into the champ in the afternoon. It is also the same day as the prelim final ,so it is possible that you may qualify for winters at prelim regional and have already qualified for pet plan novice on the same day at champs.

Nope still not clear!!!!!! Having a divvy moment!!!!!! Is this any petplan class as I believed in Novice/Elementary only first 2 qualified????????

No ,prelim and novice 4 qualified, so then you have to go to Hartbury and do a round 1 then top 15 go into champ, but you have to pay twice,I know alot compete in them but so do they at regionals so don't know why they decided you have to go to Hartbury and do a semi final, they could have just put 2 through and a few wild cards as they do at regionals
