Pet Plan High Excess Vets fees

Hi

Does anyone know if petplan have stopped doing this insurance. My others are on it and I want to insure the new horse and can't find it anymore.

Don't know about Pet Plan but I have Shearwater insurance and have £5,000 worth of fees but with £500 excess which keeps the cost down - I have the sort that are unlikely to need minor stuff, but have peace of mind that should they really need specialist treatment I have the insurance for it.

Shearwater have been excellent over the years - when I did have two hefty claims on my WB, they promptly paid out. Customer service is very good too.

They don't do it for new policies any more, only do 115 xs, have a look ar Equestrian Direct.

Yes, mine used to be on it but when I came to renew they said they werent offering it anymore ..

mine hasn't changed this year. i was on £500 excess with petplan and still am.
