Pet Plan or SEIB?

I'm with SEIB, not had to claim yet so can't comment on that. I had quotes from both and SEIB were cheaper and far more recommended.

Hope that helps....

Am with SEIB. OK but you need to stand your ground. My mare deveoped a lung problem, whereupon practically anyhing from her ears to her dtifle seemed to be excluded.

This year I pointed out to them that my happy hacking horse was costing far more to insure than my turbo charged car and that I was going to look elsewhere - suddenly my insurance became a lot cheaper! So query everything.

I'm with SEIB and would highly recommend them. Thankfully i have only had to claim once and they paid out straight away, no problems. I have also had quotes from Pet plan and they were alot more expensive. Hope that helps.......

Not Petplan - I'm with them - massively expensive and keep putting my premium up massively even though haven't claimed for 4 years and back, pelvis etc. etc. etc. etc. is excluded anyway. Think I can only claim if he gets injured by something external like a kick any other problem is excluded and my premium is £55 for NO loss of use and value only £2,500 wouldn't let me insure for any less.

Had NFU before they were much better - would definitely try them first but when I took my insurance out on this horse they were only doing horse insurance if you had another Policy e.g. car insurance with them. I think they have dumped that idea now.

Well you know the problems I'm having with the girl and have have previously had with the boy......Petplan every time. They have been wonderful with both my horses claims.
