Peter Charles & Corrada

Just seen in the new issue of Horse that Corrada has now returned to Peter Charles after her 3 years in the USA to begin her new career as a broodmare. Peter is quoted as saying "She was always part of the family and we're delighted to have her back."
There is supposed to be an interview with him in the next issue (on sale 26/4).

Yes, she was not fast but usually so careful. The only good thing about her sale was that it was made a condition that she returned to Peter once retired from competing.

Oooohh, I wonder if she'll be coming to my local stud (where my mare is at the moment . . . .). They are big friends of P Charles (in fact one of his chaps is there at the moment) and Corrada stayed there immediately before going to the US. I'll have to have a look at the weekend when I go visiting my mare . . . .
