Peter Charles won the 75000$ GP at Wellington yesterday riding Murka's Pom D'Ami, taking 22500$ for that.
James Billington, Ben Maher and Nick Skelton also participate, but they were not so lucky and no money for them.

Am I right in thinking he's eligible for GB team selection now or have I got confused?

Good result anyway btw

Yes, Peter is definitely back in the British camp and FEI won't allow him another change!
I watched most of the class on the internet though I had to pay for the privilege. The 1st round was not very technical (designer was Olaf Petersen jnr) with only a narrow vertical at 7, the double and the treble causing problems. Peter rode an excellent round in the jump-off. Eric Lamaze was up on the clock but blew it by being too ambitious.

Peter rode last year for the British Team in Europe. In fact I am pretty sure his double no fault round in Wellington a few weeks ago really put Team GBR in contention for a 1st place in the Nations Cup event in America. One of the horses could not finish their 2nd round for GBR so GBR tied with Ireland for 2nd.

Oh and don't forget that Pom d' Ami and Rubert R too. It is a horse/rider effort, no? Peter has got at least 4 fantastic horses...always good to have a back-up! That can only benefit any British Team when a rider has such solid options for competitions.
