Hi, when i first got my mare i called him out and he was due to come and fit her saddle, he never turned up and i rang him constantly for 7 days afterwards and left countless messages but he never got back to me?? i ended up getting another out to fit her saddle but now need it checking again, shes changed shape lots and i know the saddle dosent fit her aswell as it did.
SO i have heard glowing reports about peter and wanted to call him out despite what happened.......the current saddle i have i paid £350 with the fitting, TBH i havent got alot of money to send as funds are very tight!! so hoping for an exchange, how much do you think i will cost for him to come out? thanks
 
I can highly recommend Andy Wheals (Whitchurch)- v reliable! Search the Master Saddler website for contact details.
 
Peter has recently taken on mastership of David Davies hunt so imagine v. busy now until end of season. Maybe that is why he has not got back to you? Lovely chap but would give second recommendation for Andy, who does mine. However although he is easier to get hold of, you may not get an appt for a few weeks as is also very busy with hunting commitments.
 
I used Pete back in the summer and he is very difficult to pin down. To be fair, once we booked appointments he was very punctual and did a great job. Hopefully he is visiting me again this week for a check as my youngster has filled out a bit but time will tell.
 
Vote here for Andy Wheals, don't have his current number but as said above you can find him on Master saddlers site, I think its always best to use a qualified saddle fitter.
