Hes mine. I managed to raise £250 and a neighbour very kindly lent me the rest. His owner was really nice actually and wished me well. She was genuinely pleased that he had a good home. She gave me his Farmkey papers for change of ownership and a receipt and will forward the passport when she finds it

. He has settled in so well and is a totally genuine boy. He has been shod and is 100% sound so I am beaming from ear to ear. A very long week is over, I now have 3 beautiful horses, Fly my DWB, Peter who is by Ahorn z (holsteiner) and Harry my friesian x. I class myself as a very lucky person to have 3 wonderful horses. xx

Had been wondering if you had managed to find the money! So glad you managed and Peter has a lovely caring new home. Hope your OH is not cross with you for getting another horse!! Been good watching how Peter has been getting on. So glad he has come sound. Keep us all updated on his progress! x

My husband is so amazing. He has supported me 100% even when I have totally got it wrong. He often gets greeted with "honey I have bought a horse, or honey I have a new kitten etc" as soon as he walks in the door from work. He once said that his life with me (married 24 yrs) has always been a struggle financially but he has never said "told you so". Bless him. I can't think of anyone whose company I adore more! x

thats great news im so glad you managed to get the money for him ,now relaxed and get on and enjoy him

Feeling a bit rough today for various reasons and that has really made my day!! Congratulations. Your OH sounds lovely BTW - lucky lady!

Moneypit, i just read through your previous post, well done for rescuing such a beauty, i am sure you will have lots of fun with him. You are now is gaurdian angel and i am sure he will love u for it, its so nice that he can finally be a horse again and it looks like he is loving doing some work - he has his purpose in life back!

Moneypit - you remind me of my mum....we used to take in animals people didnt want...ended up having a wonderful childhood surrounded by every type of animal under the sun....mum bought a yearling from the NF Sales for £50 as she was going to the meatman....we broke her in and she was a great pony....
My old pony was a great escapee and was sold on cause she kept jumping out of fields....she bolted off with me time and time again - mum would jump in her car and find me 2 miles down the road jiggling, she broke her leg after being kicked...spent a fortune on getting her well and I still have her....
We got used to waking at 5am to go and claim our horses from the angry farmer who's field they had trampled!!

Good luck with him - they are all wonderful horses ....ill come and help you exercise them :0)
