Background (Preamble):
Currently Nevzorov Haute Ecole Research Centre has the unquestionable evidence of the equestrian sport's cruelty.

We are ready to bring on a highest level a conclusive accusation against equestrianism, races and other horse-torturing activities. Also we think it is legally acceptable to claim moral damage which is caused to children, who's mental health is endangered while participating in "sport activities" which considers the cruel treatment of a living being to be normal. The above is pertinent to the audience which is unsuspicious of the real nature of equestrian sport, races and other human entertainment which include horses.

Equestrian "sport" has nothing to do with a testing of power and ability of a human sportsmen. It is parasitizing on the abilities of another creatures, namely, horse. One of the proofs is that only equestrianism allows men and women participate on equal terms.

Equestrian "sport" can not exist because it is NOT sport at all. A sport discipline tests power and endurance of men, who act VOLUNTARILY, while in equestrian "sport" the one who acts like a sportsman is a horse, which is totally absurd and conflicts with the rules of Olympic Games and de Coubertin's behest. Parasitizing on other being's abilities and prize winning through violent and public coercion of a horse discredits sport and devalues services of real sportsmen who test the limits of their abilities and facilities.

We bear in mind the extent of the problem: we understand that the equestrian industry will use any means possible to defend its financial interests. Also we understand that we can withstand and win the fight only when we close our ranks. We need your aid, the aid of the sane and the intelligent people.

Let us together stop the lies and the rampancy of the legalized cruelty. Let us mark the 21st century with the prohibition of such a shameful sport as equestrianism. Let us exclude "Equestrianism" from the Olympic Games.

You can not ignore the public opinion nowadays. Internet connects people all over the world. Through the efforts of the publicity the use of the wild animals in circuses was banned in the USA. The horse slaughterhouses were also closed there. In Australia the horse races were banned at the Victoria race track. All of these happened because of the unity and bravery of the people who are ready to make a stand against the deadly machine of equestrianism. And this is just the beginning.
Petition:
Nevzorov Haute Ecole and Nevzorov Horse Revolution opposes a system of equestrianism itself - a system the essence of which is cruelty and money making by using a defenseless creatures.

Nevzorov Haute Ecole does not fight for the easing of rules of equestrian sport, neither it fights for the exchange of bitted bridles for the bitless ones. Nevzorov Haute Ecole does not support half measures: the ban of the whips or the stiffening of the penalty scheme or against "Rollkur".

Nevzorov Haute Ecole does not ask for donations. We need only your voice. Sign the petition and ask your friends and relatives to do the same. Make your own contribution in the fight for the civilized society. Say NO to legalized violence.

its for real. If you click on the link contained in the petition, go and have a look at the pics. Theyre actually very interesting but all riders, bits etc cant be painted with the same brush. WARNING, there are some DISTURBING pictures!!!
 
I once had a spaced out person with dreadlocks scream at me incoherently on a hack. Something about how cruel and barbaric I was riding my horse. (I was hacking through our village high street, on my very happy and healthy, well mannered lad.)

I think this clap trap was written by one of these types. Trying to use big words they don't truly understand, and their lack of correct grammar and spelling makes it incomprehensible to me.

Just ignore it.
 
This sort of thing makes me a bit annoyed :(

If the horse didn't enjoy the sport, some of them simply wouldn't do it. There are many horses out there who thrive in working, and love jumping and racing! Also, riding is a skill, and a sport for man, it does show talent, true it's a sport for many people, but not all that many people are naturally talented at riding. It's not what many people think, funnily enough the rider does work an awful lot! Anyway, rant over :D xx

Well now that's just not true, woman can compete against men in most motor racing sports too! Then again that's parasiting off an internal combustion engine...the poor cars :( ;)
 
Well, that's fine. Ban equestrian sports, stop everyone riding, and watch the horse either turn into a meat animal or vanish from the countryside.
Having done a fair bit of internet research, I'm afraid I don't trust this man's motives at all.
 
Sometimes it's those who were most in need of conversion who become the most fanatical.

Plus, there are just random remarks made that get on my nerves. I've never caused my horse pain, nor beaten him... yet he enjoys jumping and running around... (surely a horses version of sport?!) and also enjoys doing those things with me sat on him!
Hmm..... Guess I ought to give him up and sell him for meat then? He'd be so much happier! :D

Funny, when I first saw his site (about 8months/1yr ago) I thought the riding the most impressive part. If not ride... why not get a dog? It just seems ridiculous.
Seriously makes me think he must simply like the taste of horse burgers... I can't think why we'd need so many horses in the world otherwise if not to ride...

If only he was a spaced out hippy type! He's a master at propaganda, the reason the grammar and spelling are off is because he's Russian so it's translation issues. His wife is quite a sciency woman I gather.
 
As the Equestrian industry is the fourth biggest employer in the UK (well it was when was at Uni and can't be that far off even now) then that would be a lot of people out of a job, me for one. This guy is crazy.
 
lets turn them all loose now, i never realised how cruel i was being but keeping him in tip top condition and pandering to his every need. shame on me. sometimes i wonder what on earth goes on in some peoples heads.
 
so basically he feels guilty for being heavy handed and maybe a bit of a git with regard to how he has treated horses in the past, so in order to make himself feel a bit better, everyone else has to stop riding their horses.

yeah, right - good luck with that one Mr Crazy Man.

It doesn't make sense... improving equine welfare is not going to come from removing competitions, there are plenty of "closed doors" things going on with day to day riders, people who don't compete for whatever reason (finance/time), wheeler dealers doing all sorts to the horses...

Most competition horses are kept in luxury compared to many other horses. Removing the problem (ie the competitive horse bashers) would be a better solution... I hate the fact a blind eye is turned to this just because certain people are "in" with the right people.

If he really cared about animals why doesn't he petition against all the cruel meat trade practises, or do some charity work with animals in poor countries?

RE, closing the slaughter houses in America, don't they have even more problems with horse abuse/abandoning since that happened??
 
This sort of thing really annoys me. Most people just dont understand that if the horse really did not enjoy it they wouldnt do it. Especially at the top of their game. The top competition horses love it and would be bored stiff and dangerous if they didnt.
 
It's an huge pile of donkey plop (no doubt from terrified abused donkeys!), but the website is full of very cleverly worded propaganda, with a tiny bit of biased science and some fairly grim photos. If you werent horsy and a bit of a bunny hugger it would be very good at making you thing all horse owners were evil. It does seem laughable but things like Boekelo three day event are on dodgy ground due to the perceived welfare of the horse. So, yes a definate loony, but better to know about it so we can explain if needs be. And yes, closing slaughter houses in America was about the worst thing ever for horses destined for meat.
